Founded in 1973 by the current Managing Director Andrew Porter. The company has steadily built up a first class reputation as a quality moving and storage company, successfully moving families both in the UK and Overseas. Andrew Porter Limited also operates an efficient Business Services Division specialising in Commercial Premises Moves, Records Management and Archive Document Storage.

Currently operating with more than 50 specialist vehicles and over 120 fully trained staff, the company is equipped to handle any sort of move.

In 1999 the company moved to its newly built office and warehouse complex, which proudly boasts the largest purpose built containerised storage warehouse in the North West of England. This combined with top quality service and excellent customer care has helped place Andrew Porter Limited at the forefront of the country’s leading removal and storage companies.

The new complex has it's own in-house training centre, where all the company's employees are fully trained and accredited to the "British Association of Removers" standard.

Not only has this ensured that all of our employees are trained and accredited to the British Association Standard, but also that we are leading the way now and in the future. This has culminated in Andrew Porter Ltd being awarded the privilege of becoming the dedicated training centre for the north west of England on behalf of the British Association of Removers (B.A.R.). This means that we at Andrew Porter Ltd are the only removal company within the north west of England who are allowed to train other removal companies staff in the correct ways of moving and handling furniture in the removal industry.
