Andrew Porter Ltd. has recently opened the largest purpose built containerised storage facility in the North West. The container store is fully alarmed and guarded 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

What is more none of your effects are handled separately at the warehouse. Before departing to your home the storage containers are loaded by fork lift truck onto the purpose built removals vehicles through side opening doors.

Once we arrive at your new home we take an inventory in triplicate of everything to be stored.

Your furniture and effects are then carefully loaded and packed into the containers.

All items are carefully blanket wrapped to protect them during transportation. Once the containers are sealed the container numbers are noted on the inventory and a copy given to the customer.

These containers are not reopened until re-delivery to your new home.

When you are ready to move into your new home, the containers are fork lifted back into a vehicle, delivered to your door and the contents unloaded and placed in the room of choice. This is the first time your belongings are taken out of the containers.

This container system ensures minimum risk of loss or damage and is a distinct advantage when storing goods for any length of time.

In addition to containerised storage we can also provide:

Carpet racks, Carpets are rolled, wrapped in polythene and placed onto purpose built racks, Ladder racks, Purpose built racks to store ladders and longer items.

We also have the facility to store unusual items such as garden sheds, ride on mowers, canoes etc.
